Purpose This checklist helps caregivers evaluate their loved one's ability to perform complex daily tasks using the standardized Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL) Scale. Use this assessment to identify areas where assistance may be needed and to track functional decline in early-stage cognitive or physical impairment. IADLs require both mental and physical capacity, making them valuable indicators of overall functioning.
