Why We Exist
Why We Exist
This platform was shaped by the aging journey my father experienced. His journey took us through the typical transitions that families face – from aging in place to living with family, then independent living, and ultimately navigating the complexity of pneumonia and end-of-life care. At each stage, we discovered the critical importance of advocacy, yet found ourselves without a roadmap. Despite having multiple siblings working together – some of whom had very relevant experience – we were constantly searching for guidance that simply didn't exist in one place.
After my father passed, I made a commitment: no family should have to navigate this journey feeling lost, unprepared, or unaware of their options. Every family deserves access to clear guidance, practical tools, and trusted resources they can depend on during these precious and challenging times.
